Google, Range Partner with XPrize for $3.5M Sci-Fi Film Competition
Google, Range Media Partners, and XPrize have launched a $3.5 million global film competition called “100 Zeros.” It challenges filmmakers to create optimistic science fiction stories about the future. The grand prize winner will receive $2.5 million in production funding, a $100,000 cash prize, and support from Range and Google. Four other finalists will each get $100,000. To enter, filmmakers must submit a three-minute trailer or short film by July 31, 2024. Five finalists will present their visions in Los Angeles in September.
