Nvidia forms 37-member AI security alliance without OpenAI, Anthropic or Google
Nvidia and 36 tech firms, including Microsoft, IBM, and Red Hat, launched the Open Secure AI Alliance on Monday to develop open-source security tools for AI systems. The initiative cites a recent Hugging Face breach where closed AI models hindered forensic analysis. In that incident, Hugging Face used an open-weight model to review 17,000 actions and contain the intrusion. OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google are not among the founding partners.
