Google really wants Gemini involved in every part of your phone now
Google is expanding Gemini integration with Google Contacts, as spotted in a beta update. The goal is to let the AI assistant handle contact-related tasks—like finding people, making calls, or sending messages—through natural, conversational commands rather than rigid voice prompts. This shift aims to make Gemini a more proactive, context-aware personal assistant embedded across Android. While this promises greater convenience, it also raises privacy concerns due to deeper access to personal data. The feature is still in development.
