Google, AirTrunk, and European Energy Australia set to launch Mulwala Solar Farm, powering Australia’s digital future
The 25-megawatt Mulwala Solar Farm in New South Wales, near completion, will soon join Australia’s National Electricity Market. Announced in 2023 as part of the Digital Future Initiative, the project adds clean energy capacity to support grid decarbonization and meet growing digital demands. It advances the goal of 24/7 carbon-free energy operations. Through partnerships with AirTrunk and European Energy Australia, the farm demonstrates responsible digital infrastructure powered by renewable energy.
