Google Messages’ Copy And Paste Update: Here’s What Was Fixed
Google is fixing a long-standing annoyance in its default Android messaging app. Previously, users could only copy entire text messages, forcing workarounds like pasting into notes apps. A new beta update now allows users to long-press a message and select specific text to copy, while keeping the option to copy the whole message. This beta is rolling out gradually, with a wider release expected soon. Recent updates also include pinning chats, creating photomojis, sending stickers, and the return of message edit history on some phones.
