Topshop Hosts AI-Driven Shoppable Runway Show with Help from PayPal, Google Cloud
Topshop, PayPal, Google Cloud, and THG Studios set a world record with the first AI-driven, shoppable catwalk. The “Runway to the Future” event in Manchester blended human and AI-generated models. Attendees used a bespoke app to virtually try on and purchase outfits in real-time. The show featured 85% of the collection as instantly shoppable, integrating AI at every stage—from creative design to virtual stylists—and was officially certified as a world first.
